It is so fun to be sneaky: first you have to leave the note without being seen, then photograph where you left it (without being seen)!

2nd Anonymous Note
My 2nd anonymous note (moreloveletters.com) was left in a restroom at the McDonalds (only handled with clean hands) after having lunch with my daughter.

More Love Letters
MoreLoveLetters.com Has a couple of great options/ideas for adding love out there to the world.
One fun way that I just started participating in is writing anonymous notes & then leaving them in different places for folks to find. My first note I deposited on a shelf at the Star Library.

Security Envelope Flowers
I have been using the inside of security envelopes to make things. I took the few paper punches I have had and punched out shapes. My favorite is the "flowers." I like to use them for my return address, accent pieces on mail art or when making friendship books. Also look great on ATC's. And of course, postcards!!!

Magical Chemical Co.
Magical Chemical Co.
I found this little gem while poking around downtown Boise with the kids. (Yep, only 5 cents.)
My oldest son had heard (from his art teacher at the Star Library) about a place called the Reuseum and the Reuse Market. We checked out the latter and found treasures!!!
My favorite was the item you see in the photo. It is tiny; measures 3 1/4 x 6 inches.
The artwork is titled: "Fishermen Three" by Churchill Ettinger.
Google couldn't find The Magic Chemical Co.
Check out the years on this calandar!
I love the pages. They are only dated for the month of July, then there are a handfull of blank pages at the back.
My mind has been buzzing over the craft/postcard possibilities of this bad boy. Any ideas?

Letter Writing Party {april}
Letter Writing Party {april}
For the past few months, I have been participating with the Write More Letters.com site in composing letters of encouragement to folks who could use some. In late February (if I remember correctly) I decided it would be fun to organize a letter writing party to increase the number
salutations I could send out. I call us the "Star Letter Writers" and we meet once a month in conjunction with a church humanitarian effort. (quilt tying, sewing, kit assemblage, etc.)
I printed out cards with the website's mission statement.
Gathered up pens, stationery, and notecards.
Then we were off!!!
Many with busy hands!
My assistant and I.
It was a fun morning. Many folks were grateful for the opportunity to write to someone and said they'd come back next month. woot, woot!
4 Facts About Me Swap
4 Facts About Me Swap
Facts About Me: not so much about the critters, grew up outside of a small town, my favorite color is purple, currently owned by 3 children who look just like their father. (That's a good thing!)
The ocelot (pronounced /ˈɒsəlɒt/; Leopardus pardalis), also known as the dwarf leopard, is a wild cat distributed extensively over South America, Central America, and Mexico. They have been reported as far north as Texas, and as far east as Trinidad and Barbados in the Caribbean.North of Mexico, they are found regularly only in the extreme southern part of Texas, although there are rare sightings in southern Arizona. {thanks wiki}

Where was this photo taken?
Where was this photo taken? One of my pen friends took this photo, turned it into a postcard, and sent it to me. Can you guess where she is? How did she get this great "curve" look? Correct answer = a postcard from me!

Crystal Cheatham
Crystal Cheatham
Crystal Cheatham is a well traveled singer-songwriter new to the Philadelphia area. Her range and style encompass folk, jazz, and blues. Having been raised on gospel and spoken word, her original tunes are packed with an emotional story you can’t wait to discover from song to song. Accompanying herself on the acoustic guitar, Crystal’s lyrical play and inventive chord progressions are fun and thought provoking.
On the back of this lovely card is a description of a currently being read book. (That sounded funny.) I've actually read this one. Interesting, gritty.
