Idaho-Salmon River

The Salmon River is the largest river completely located within the state.  It drains over 14,000 square miles and flows undammed its entire 425 miles.  Both the fishing and whitewater excitement are unparalleled throughout the west.

Hells Canyon

 Seven Devils Mountains, Idaho

The Seven Devils, part of the Hells Canyon National Recreation area.  The snowcapped peaks climb from the Snake River to 9, 293 ft. skyward and stretch across the horizon 40 miles accross.  Around the peaks hide 30 alpine lakes and miles of hiking trails.  From the top of this world at Heavens Gate Lookout, a spectacular view of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana can be enjoyed.

Garden Valley Idaho

Garden Valley Idaho
My lovely friend Linda delivers once again!
One of the best weekends we had last summer was in a cabin right on the Payette River.  The lady who gave me this card married one of my other friends' dad who happens to own that cabin!  Small, wonderful world!

These are postcards that I found in Cascade, Idaho on the way to Yellow Pine.
