One of my very first swaps was to create envelopes from a used calandar. I had scored a really cool free calandar from the Birds of Prey Museum. And look who flew into my mailbox from Emilie.
Funny childhood story: I remember one summer day being out in the back yard while my mother hung wash on the clothesline. My brother and I were playing when out of nowhere a blue jay comes soaring in and dive bombed my brother. Luckily he used his ninja skills and dove under the picnic table until that pesky bird disappeared. (Not a funny story for my brother!)
