For The Love of Letters
I just finished reading this book by Samara O'Shea. In the introduction of this book she makes the following statement:
"We might not find our everyday lives too fascinating but our great-grandchildren will, and I'd much rather have them unfold a dusty sample of my enduring words than Google me."
Brilliant! There are no more precious treasures in this world than to find a hand-written piece of someone's life than a letter or postcard, and I would add a personal journal (my favorite book of letters to my posterity)!
